Content Policy

AI Christmas exists to make warm, festive keepsakes for families — not to fake reality. This policy explains our rules and how we enforce them. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Our Principles

1. Consent first. Only people who agreed — and, for children, only their parent or guardian — may be uploaded.
2. No deception. Nothing made here may be used to impersonate anyone or to pass AI content off as real.
3. Children are protected. Children may appear only in family keepsakes uploaded by a parent or guardian, and any sexualisation or exploitation leads to immediate termination and a report to the authorities.
4. Rights holders are respected. We do not use third-party characters, brands or copyrighted music.
5. Privacy by default. Every photo and creation is deleted automatically within 7 days.

Who You May Upload

• Yourself.
• Adults who have given you permission to use their photo for this purpose.
• Children under 18 only if you are their parent or legal guardian (13–17-year-olds may upload themselves with a parent's or guardian's permission).
• Your own pets, or pets whose owner agreed.
• For Santa cam: a photo of a room you are allowed to photograph, without people in it.

You may not upload public figures (celebrities, athletes, influencers, politicians), strangers, or anyone who has not agreed.

What You May Not Create or Do

• Non-consensual deepfakes, or any use of a person's likeness without their consent.
• Impersonation, or content that deceives people about who appears in it or what really happened.
• Nudity, sexual or sexually suggestive content of anyone.
• Any sexualisation, exploitation or endangerment of minors.
• Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or defamation.
• Fraud, scams, identity theft, or presenting AI content as real evidence or real security-camera footage.
• Political, election or public-event misinformation.
• Content using third-party trademarks, copyrighted characters, logos or artwork.

Built-in Safeguards

• Consent checkbox before every generation, enforced on our server.
• Fixed scenes and motions only — no free-text prompts, no scripted speech, no voice cloning.
• Automatic photo screening — photos with several people, or no clear person or pet, are blocked before generation.
• Provider safety filters — prohibited or sensitive requests are refused, and the credits are returned.
• Visible AI context — previews are watermarked and shared cards carry our name.
• Short lifetime — online cards stop working and all content is deleted within 7 days.

AI-Generated Content

Everything made with AI Christmas is AI-generated. Do not present it as an unedited photo or recording of real events. When posting on social media, follow that platform's AI-content labeling rules.

How to Report Content

• Use the Report this card link at the bottom of any online card, or
• email support@aichristmas.io with the link and what is wrong.

We review every report within 24 hours and may disable the content immediately while reviewing. You do not need an account to report.

Enforcement

When we confirm a violation we:

1. delete the content and the photos used to make it, and disable any card link;
2. suspend or terminate the account (remaining credits are forfeited); and
3. refuse future use where appropriate.

For sexual content of real people or any exploitation of minors, we terminate the account immediately and report to the relevant authorities, including NCMEC where applicable.

Copyright and Trademarks

Our scenes, card designs and copy are original. Background music uses public-domain compositions in public-domain recordings. If you believe content made with the service infringes your rights, email support@aichristmas.io with the subject "Rights complaint", including your contact details, the work or right concerned, a link to the content and a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized. We review within 24 hours, remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
